This is hard truth cold fact and sinister evidence.
This is finally saying I hate you.
And it won’t go away at twenty

This is broken promises stolen glory and faked smiles
This is forgotten words bitter truths and forced poverty
This is sudden riches guilty presents and boneless apologies
This is you creating hate but unable to embrace it.

Because this is not just a teenage rebellion
And it won’t go away at twenty
This is your daughter your little girl your pride and joy
Standing up and screaming I won’t take it any more
This is your baby unsure why you can’t or won’t love her.
Because this is not just a teenage rebellion

So get used to it because that innocent unknowing love?
Has been shattered
And no matter how you try to fix it the glass will forever be
Missing pieces and full of cracks
Because this is not just a teenage rebellion
And it won’t change at twenty
Because this is what you created

yea, so's my mom.
she's so obnoxious, too. with everything, the way she refuses to treat me as an equal even though i'm trying really hard, and then she blames me for her apparent "depression" and whatnot.
she makes me want to punch babies sometimes.
